There are lots of threads about breaking cars so I thought I may find an aluminium/steel gear knob for my S2. I have the wooden dash with a matching gear knob that is about 3' tall! I want something similar to a Griff/Chim.

Thanks

I got mine from a classic car site. It's a solid alloy ball and cost about 11 quid or something. I can't remember the site exactly classic-car-accesories.co.uk I think. Failing that I have a blue alloy one if you are after something to clash with the walnut

I've got a nylon gear knob from Quaife engineering, they look great and never feel cold like the alloy ones do.
cheers.....Tony..

. i just checked and the site is correct, but the knob is 17 quid. There's loads of other bits and bobs and shiny stuff you don't need on the site as well. Also there are gazillions on gear knobs on ebay.
