Hi there,
I need to adjust my handbrake and I've read in the bible that there is a plastic knob that can be turned to compensate for slackness. It's in the transmission tunnel somewhere but I cannot see it.

Can someone point me in the right direction please ? A picture would be great.

Cheers

Paul

Thanks for that. I shall get under the car tomorrow and see if it makes sense.

just follow the handbrake cable from its location on the trailing arm, forward until it reaches a bracket, the adjustment nut is forward of that... If memory serves its the drivers side...

good luck

OK will do. To be honest I think it maybe under a load of road muck which is why I can't see it too clearly. I've currently gots the wheels off at the moment so should be pretty easy to find.
