Chaps & chapesses

I'm after suggestions for gallery software. I know, I know, it often comes up biggrin But I have some specific requirements due to the nature of the project and the prospective customers.

1) Cart integration is required. This site will be for selling prints, not so much for showcasing (although displaying them in the best possible way is obviously a given), for a couple of specific events. Paypal probably the simplest gateway as we have a merchant account.

2) Multiple levels of "client". As well as Joe Public we need a couple of tiers of access which affect payment. Press need to have the ability to acquire images for advertising purposes, thus no payment (I mention the advertising so as not to get clobbered for offering freebies tongue out), and people involved in the event will be able to use a discount code or particular login to access lower prices.

3) No Flash. Our demographic is mainly hippies biggrin No cutting edge technology on the site, unless it offers a low-tech alternative for less advanced browser versions.

4) Templatable. Probably par for the course these days, but I need to tailor to existing parent site design.

Hosting is taken care of and has the usual complement of PHP and MySQL.

So, over to you smile

Gallery II will do it I think.

I have it installed under joomla, can have multiple user levels, private gallerys, cart integration, templates etc pretty easy to get going.

Gallery 2 is what I have on my website and should certainly tick a couple of boxes dont know enough about it to confirm all of your requirements tho.

I wanted flash but my computer geek friend who built it dont do flash lol (shouldnt complain he works for free.

Anyway Im babeling, if you have any questions about gallery 2 you cant get answered I would probably be able to put the two of you in touch.
