Belgom Alu - came recommended from my local bike shop many years ago and I haven't found anything to beat it since...

I've been told that Cillit Bang (lime reduction type) is very effective.

Swafega alloy wheel cleaner is amazing. I use it all the time for non shotblasted items, blocks, heads etc. DO NOT use it on wheels, it is too strong and may damage them. Oh, wear gloves as it is pretty harsh on the skin. End result is brilliant, as new.

Good luck.

If I'm not using Autosol for the shiny bits, Cillit Bang is very good at grime removal in the engine bay...I use when I have an engine bay to clean frown

Has anyone used wonder wheels for this? I've got a big tub of it in the garage and never thought of trying it. I guess its similar to the Swarfega stuff.
