We supply most of the wheels to this guy, so if I can help, just drop me a pm.

Had a look at that site and they seem quite pricey...I'm being a credit crunch cheapskate and was hoping to pick up a second hand set at credit crunch prices...

Does anyone have any thoughts about fitting replicas to a 55 i.e. are they strong enough?

I collect my E55 tomorrow and like the OP was thinking of replica CL63 or E63 wheels.

Thanks

Marc

Replicas: so you have bought the absolute top of the line Mercedes-Benz AMG E-Class, with 500bhp give or take, extreme high performance and cutting edge design and construction, and you're going to put cheap and nasty replica wheels on it? Are you insane? Why would you do this? Don't tell me, they're to match your remould tyres? Or pattern brake pads?

I have to agree, I have had replicas on lesser cars when I was younger and they are weak, they corrode and will be hard to balance..not what you want on a 500 bhp car

What's your liability in case of an accident?? In my country the insurance company would file damages against you. That could be very very nasty and costly. Your car deserves only the best even if it costs a little bit more, but at least you have peace of mind.
