Brand New LS7 Engines

Guys,

Can anyone tell me if £11,500 Inc VAT is a good price for a brand new LS7 engine?
According to my contact it will come with GM Warranty (out of box) apparently the warranty is void when placed into a none OE vehicle. (Make Sense)

Comes with all pulleys and Ecu, Pedal etc.

Any advise would be appreciated.

What loom does it have and is the ecu modified for a retrofit application, if not I don't think it'll fire up.

no not a great price when you start adding in all the other bits you will need budget for another 6-7k on top, what do you want to do with said LS??

Fast Road, doubt it will see the track much.

i talked to a guy at pistonheads show who was the importer to uk and supplies Gadner douglas and like and was selling them at £9600 inc vat(had a couple left at old exchange rate)!!!(see [previous threds) then you have to add aux.....

They were called partsworld 01543 431959...Certainly worth a phone call and see what he has got... he can supply cams , heads etc in increase HP as well...Also worth a call to Gadner Douglas who is really really helpfull and seems to look after his customers...

Thanks Guys general thoughts are a no, good enough for me.

Im in no rush as the factory have yet to develop the getrag adapter, aparently wont be long now though. Thanks for all the input.

please dont put a Trag on a LS you will regret it, i have a Trag and looked at everyway to use it with a LS but its a poor box in relation to the G50's.

I have the grp centre change installed, and i love the modern porsche look style change is there anyway i can use a g50 with it?
