I sold my T350 in July and am cruising the motorways in comfort in an XKR. I can't fault the Jag at all for comfort, power and surprisingly mpg. But....well it is not the same.

I lasted about a year between my Chim and Tam. I think there may be some form of TVR addiction that you cannot throw off. I am showing an unhealthy interest in the classifieds: Quite a few nice examples of Chims out there at good prices. How long has anyone lasted Tiv-less before they cracked and bought their next one?

I sold my Chim beginning of October having told the other half I'd wait until March (month after our wedding) before spending loads of cash on a new car.
2 weeks later (16th Oct to be precise) I purchased my silver T350t from Castle's.

Bought 1, sold it to buy a bigger one, added a second. Sold both for good profits. Joined TVR Anonymous for about 28 years and had 5 since then; hence why I smile a lot.

Addiction, no way! (but I would like a Griff/Chim/M/Graantura/Vixen/whatever hehe)

Lasted about 6 months between my first one, a 350i, and second, a Chimaera. Sold the Chim 14 months ago thinking that was it. However, as someone else said they get into your blood as last weekend I found myself viewing a S1 and am currently biding on another S1. So 14 months so far and can't wait to get my hands on another one.

Had my first Chim in 1994 a griff in 1996, had to sell in 1997 due to starting my own business.
Bought a Chim again in 2006, so 9 years.

Funny how they get under your skin is n't it.

Definitely addictive!

Bought my first in 1980 and owned 8 to-date. Gaps in TVR ownership 1982-1984, 1986, 1995-1996 and 2002-2004. No plans to sell now production has stopped - unless TVR starts up again or funds run out.

Sold my 4.3 Chim Summer 06 (before what felt like the constant rain) to facilitate and extension and new baby. Got a Cerb 2 weeks ago today due to its practicality as a family car (not!)

Hello chaps,

I bought my Griff on my 30th birthday. I had a 400Se before that but always hankered after the 500 and bought one of the last ones. I went everywhere in it including my honeymoon, where it let me down in a very nice part of the French Alpes, only to be left by the side of the road whilst me and Mrs. Winstone carried on our honeymoon on the TGV to Paris courtesy of AA Insurance. Sadly the car had to go in October 2006 due to needing money. I was distraught to say the least. I sold it to a chap in Elgin (I live in Arundel) and said if he ever wanted to sell it to let me know. Nine months later I saw it for sale on here and 'phoned him straight away and said I'd buy it back. In the months after selling it I had been trawling the classifieds to find another Griff as good as mine and I think it was fate that it came up for sale again. I think it is an addiction that can never been shaken, I even look for the 400SE which I traded in at Hawthorns in Farnham to buy the Griff. That was a beauty too and was centrefold in Classic Car a while back. It is just sad that no more Blackpool TVRs will be made anymore.

Sold my Tuscan 3 years ago to use the money for something else. It didn't happen. My wife took pity on me 3 weeks later (I was apparently wasting away laughlaugh) and suggested we went to Harrogate for the day. We went past the Tiv dealer and popped in to have a look. Needless to say what happened next!!.

They just get into your blood and that't it.

I'd have to be in real dire straights to part with her now.

My Tuscan is in the same state and i know what you mean about missing it.

I'll sell the Tuscan in a couple of years probably...... to buy a Sagaris next.

Unless something goes really tit's up, i'll never be without a Tiv again.
