I am currently restoring my Mini and have started work on the engine (Swiftune 1380cc road rocket with Jack Knight SCCR box)
The first thing I am looking at adding to the engine is a set of 1.5 ratio roller rockers, what are peoples views on full or roller tip versions of these? (just found out that a chap I work with is the nephew of the owner of Titan Motorsport so I am hoping to get a nice discount!)
The next is a set of Jack Knight SC drop gears but I have been told these are a waste of time for the road? I know they are very noisy which is not a problem, what ratio is the best if I were to go ahead?
And finally ARP head/manifold stud kits, worth the money or over the top?
Cheers

P.S does anyone know where I can get a replacement oil feed pipe from (the solid metal one that goes from the filter head to the block), mine just sheared off, I seem to remember there being a flexible one available a few years back?)

Titans r the DD's ...as r S/C Drops ...re ratios...depends upon you application...and therefore mainly the CWP u r intending to use...& of course bhp/torque output.
S/C drops with the non std bearing config is mainly for relaibility/longevity...yes they r noisey...but does it sound good as u r ambling through the paddock.
My next build...having tried various over the years...bearing the main intention is thrash around Combe...and a little light road use...will be a 3.44 S/H with 1.08 drops...its on the bench now complete with Salisbury diff.
