Hi,

I've been debating with a friend about the extra (1200mile) running-in service a 'M series' car gets over a normal BMW. Does it appear as a normal service to the service computer? (ie does the driver get reminded by the service lights coming on?)

Thanks for settling it!

NO REMINDER. Forget it & your warranty is dead.

I had a reminder on my E92 M3, popped up with about 600 miles notice.

Certainly not on the E46.
