Did anyone just see this on the one show? Theres a website which you fill in a form and it searches for anylost accounts you have.

http://www.mylostaccount.org.uk

I know I have atleast 2 accounts I havent touched for over 10 years due to moving house lots, maybe 20 quid in them.

Worth a try I guess.

Edited as it was a dodgy site.

Is the url www.mylostaccount.org.uk

Didn't watch the show, but the original link goes to a dodgy looking site, and a quick google came up with that one ^^^.

Didn't see the show but sounds to me like an easy way to get folks personal details...

http://whois.domaintools.com/mylostaccounts.org.uk

whois info

Registrant: Jing Hua
Registrant type: Non-UK Individual
Registrant's address:
The registrant is a non-trading individual who has opted to have their address omitted from the WHOIS service.

So someone not from the UK, wants people to give him their bank account details ?

seems to be hosted by sedoparking and is currently in parked mode from the looks of it smile

hmm, I ran a search on all of the companies

Natwest said they had nothing on me, even though I've had 2 acos with them, for 9 and 5 years.

Is it only savings accounts or shoudl it be bringing up current accounts (what I have)

(everyone else, as expected, said they had no money for me too!)

They've spent it all on drugs, beer, hookers, bonuses and sub-prime mortgages.

'mylostaccount.org.uk - the FREE service that helps you trace your lost accounts and savings'

Dear Enquirer, your savings disappeared in 2000 and again in 2008. But your adviser has a nice boat.

Just thought I would update this thread. I have just had an email from HSBC saying they have found 2 accounts that appear to belong to me and will be sending me a letter so that I can have the money back.
