e46 330 club sport vs e36 328 sport

ive just sold my 328 spoet e36 and bought a e46 club sport 330ci and is it me or does the old 328 feel alot quicker than the 3litre e46 sposed to be more bhp than the old 1 and limited to 155mph but off the start the e36 would blind it ,any power upgrades etc for the 330 chips etc

Well the 330 has approx 40 more bhp than the 328......but do you know what your 330 weighs? And also what your 328 weighed?
Look at a few road tests.....there's about a second difference up to 100 between the 2 depending on the mag.
My experience was that my 330 "felt" more grunty....but I'd have been surprised if there was much straight line difference between the 2
