Has anyone used an electric impact wrench? Any recommendations?

I have one that I bought from Hamilton Classics (I think). I can't remember the make though. You get a charger and two batteries, so you can charge one as you work. The battery lasts for absolutely ages though.

Very good - will take wheel nuts off no bother at all, even if they are very tight. I've also used it for taking off suspension bolts etc.

I borrowed one to remove the seatbelt fixings which were rusted in and very tight, that was after I'd already sheared a bolt using a breaker bar. I think it was a Sealey, battery powered and looked similar to the one Santa gave to Tvrgit, it did the job very well and I was most impressed.

I've spent ages trying to remember where I got mine from, and looking on the web, and you've just reminded me, why I don't know. Santa brought it!

Norman, if you look on my web site for December 2007, you'll see a pic of mine. It's branded as "Powerhand" but I think it was indeed made by Sealey. I can't find it on-line though.

Thats pretty eye-watering. I think that you can get them for a fair bit less though, try google shopping search. I did think about buying one but then set my sights on getting a compressor and a pneumatic one.

I don't think Santa paid anything like that, TBH.
