Preston's not too far from me either. I could be persuaded............or why not arrange a PH/ TVRCC West Lancs joint venture ? Their next meeting isn't far off....

I'd be up for a meet, need a week or so notice though.

Good excuse to visit Mother, and put some names to Pistonhead faces.

Cheers

Just speaking to a VERY drunk the_DJ_27!
I am informing you on his behalf as he is too drunk to type words which make sence that we will be meeting up for a drink, probably in Preston Town. Dates will be organised at a later date!

Up there in a couple of weeks time with Gaffer so we might be tempted to go back out on the old stomping ground...

A meet would be fun, why not meet somewhere nearby where we can take the cars for a spin??

Local pub with good driving roads nearby??

Easy motorway access and big car park....

suggestions.....

Well neither me nor The_DJ_27 have the cars for that so we'll just catch the bus/taxi and get bladdered instead

How about ASDA car park, (we can meet you as you leave work!) just turn up, the ones with the cars can take the ones without for a spin...

Or....

The Bay Tree (was Golden Ball), its just up the A6 from the M6/M55 junction, has a big car park (so big that they will not walk down to the far end to see what we are up to) and is close to some good roads.

We could have a blast down some great roads to lots of other pubs... how about the Plough at Eves, not far great roads and a good pit stop....

What does anyone think?????

PS hope you are feeling better Lois.

Plough at eves Plough at eves
good watering hole! was in there on thursday though I dont think its big enough!

Doing anything fun round here is nigh on impossible due to the cameras. Although i do know a few fun runs, but they only reason they are fun is I can see over hedges. I wouldn't fancy doing some of my fav lanes in a tivver.

Why dont you make the 10 min journey up the A6 to Garstang? FULL of pubs 2x big carparks and if you head off toward the hills or kirkham there are some fun roads.

Don't want to hijack the thread but I would have thought it was more fun than Preston due to the blancket 30mph and coutless 1 arm bandits.
