Apologies for the cross-post; but it's worthy (IMHO).

Oh no.

Eeee-yaaar geez, ere's a grand for yer mota, Me mate Ed's gonna restore it for a monkey and I'm gonna flog it for a decent profit innit? Up the apples and pears etc.

Can't see it being any more than a patch up job which convinces the viewing public that its a piece of cake and dirt cheap to do up a TVR. Which its not. Particularly if you bought it for £1000 in the first place.

If they're determined to show how cheap it is to do up a car, and accept their usual "profit" of £800 or so (which mysteriously excludes the labour costs of Edd the genius) then they can have mine and I'll buy it back off them after!

em... or maybe not.

Another "Bodgit & Scarper" production. Watched one recently where they repaired rust on a BMW wing, with a bit of filler and an aerosol can, a real stunner when it was done (Not), I just hope they managed to sell it within 3 days before the rust came back.

Look forward to seeing it it BUT as its said no reference to labour costs and if its so easy to use an aerosol why do paint shops use a spray booth and a bake oven and protective gear and proper preperation and................................
