Chinese "bargain" ?

A friend send me this link, what do you think ? Check out the Canon 450D and 2 Tamron lenses for £308.....

Would anyone on here risk it ?

Want to save a quid? Send £307 to me instead. You know the answer to that one. Even if you get a genuine "bargain" from overseas you could get hit with the tax and VAT here and you'll have a camera without a UK warranty.

BTW with the current £ exchange rate overseas sellers are struggling to even equal what we pay over here. You can have a good laugh by looking at Canon 5D Mark IIs and Sony Alpha900s (for example) advertised as "bargains" from HK from more than you pay from a proper dealer in the UK!

Indeed, HK imports on eBay are now more than buying from a UK dealer - madness...
