Vauxhall zafira dashboard centre consol light

I have a MY04 Vauxhall Zafira problem with the lamp around the heater controls has blown, how do i access to change .

Hope this is in correct forum - could not find a vauxhall or GM forum

From what I remember of Zafiras from my car phone installation days the dash comes out like this:


Unscew 2 Torx (think they are Torx20) screws from lower part of ashtray housing.
Pull downwards on the ashtray housing, disconnect cig lighter plug and remove.
This shows 2 more Torx20 screws at the bottom of the heater control panel.
Remove those 2 screws.
Unclip the loose fascia panel but there are three clips along the upper edge of it which are usually very tight. Carefully pry them out with a small flat screwdriver. Its usually the middle one that "resists"
That should allow access to the heater control panel mounting which should be 4 Torx screws on the (white?) panel. There's 1 at each corner.
Remove these and the heater controls should be loose enough to pull out and access bulbs at rear.

I hope that's right. It's been a while since I had one of these apart.

hi just joined pistonheads just changed my panel bulb on my zafira a I just pulled the heater dial off pulled the old one out wedged the new bulb into a plastic kids drinking straw and slotted it in 5mins top hope this helps somebody cheers
