FIFA09 Online Question

Been playing the ranked games for a bit now but my stats don't seem to appear on the leaderboards and I don't have a rank.

I assume I need to register with EA somehow? Can I do this on the PC and it will recognise the registration on the PS3?

Please help!

Then when on fifa you have to "sign in to EA" you then start getting points and with those points you can spend them on you "animated character" on the EA website and can buy like clothes and stuff for it :S
