Do you think it would be a good idea to start a thread(sticky if poss!) of great Driving roads in Britian??

Every time i find a great road, i jot it down, and have started making a list, so that when i get some time to have a blast in the 'S' i know where will be worth spending my time & fuel!drivingwoohoobeer

but, does this already exist??! It might be a good idea to try and do it on the main general gassing thread, but then we would get the possiblity of getting told some duff roads, maybe ending in a McDonalds carpark!burger

Any thoughts??

just looking through that thread, it almost needs dividing up into regions, as you have to wade through the whole thing to find a road near you, or a road where you are going to be near. Counties would be best, but obviously there are loads!

Could this be done??confused

I hope the cop don't read where these roads are, the Cat and Fiddle road used to be one of the finest driving roads, it's now full of the bib.

What it REALLY needs is them all push-pinning on the right location on Google Maps so you can browse for exactly where you're off... scratchchin

I admit that would be very convienient but it would mean every tom dick and harry would know where the roads are and we would end up with the situation that someone highlighted on the cat and fiddle. I think to find good roads all you need to do is think what areas are quiet and then look at those areas on google maps/images to see what they look like.
