I think the CDL ones are sold.
Would have been c £15k each. £20k buys you a really top notch car. If you are not planning to use it in the Challenge then paying that sort of monety is a waste.
Rod Barrett is selling his. See Hawthorns Motorsport website.
Wayne (No5) may have a chassis/ tub he might sell you.
What do you want it for?

just looking for options next year, if the tasmin regs change to aloow other tvr.
current thinking is possibly 3 classes
1) race spec tasmins as is
2) road spec/legal cars upto griff / chim V8
3) open anything goes TVR class
so im thinking
a) run taz as is
or
b) run a tuscan with rv8
or
c) run tuscan with rv8 and wedge body..
my preferance is for (a) with no other classes especially as ther are 6-8 cars about from 6-12k ready to rock and roll.
but if we go multi class id prefer to be in the big boy class hence my current thinking..

Sorry, been away in Scotland, just got back. The 29 car has now been SOLD, But she's going to a very good home, and will no doubt be seen again at future TVR Tuscan Challenge meetings . I still have Jan Perssons no:27(lightweight) car for sale and the re-built no:26 car is being viewed this week, so that may be finding itself a new owner shortly.
There seems to be a hell of a lot of people looking for,and buying Tuscan Race cars at the moment, must be a lot more folks out there with good taste then I thought

However, caveat emptor still applies. Getting mine was the worst decision I've ever made...bar none.
Make sure you have a full provenance on the car, and if you are looking at a 'road registered' car, then make sure a) there really is a V5, b) it genuinely is road legal, and c) the numbers match and no-one's been near them with a grinder.

how quick is the tuscan race car
Figures quoted by TVR are:
0-60 3.3 seconds
0-100 6.9 seconds
Max speed 190mph
Last season we were the quickest on the Revett Straight at Snet and we clocked 168mph so no too sure about the 190mph bit, maybe in terms of gearing but in real world you'd need a long straight to get near that.
In short bloody quick !!

190mph is not a problem if the road is long enough. Like a runway. No* blew up the Insane/Precision Racing 2 seater at Brunters after hitting 9,500 revs in 5th. That's a fair bit over 190mph!
But you're right - that kind of speed isn't possible on the UK race tracks.
