Guys,

I am at a loose end. Have been out of University for 2 years now and have been working for an IFA that whole time. I, like most people i have met, fell in to Finance and it was the easiest route coming out of university.

Although i get paid decent money and there is a future for me if i want it i am very bored and need to do something that i love whilst im still young and whilst i still can!

The only problem i have is that i now have a mortgage over my head which i need to keep up the payments on so i can't afford to really take much of a cut in salary!

I gained an Honours degree in Sports Studies at university (and no that didn't involve running round a field). My research paper i did in my final year was about Motivation in F1 and why people watch it. Once i had completed this thesis i sent it to every Formula one team and car manufacturing company i could get an address for and i did get some responses but they all amounted to nothing!

My dream would be to work in the automotive industry and i think i would love Marketing - as it was something i studied at Uni.

Can anyone give me any hints/tips on how i can get in to the market? Maybe i could use my Financial Services experience to get in somewhere?

Had a look on the Pistonheads Jobs link but still couldn't find much!

I am from Hampshire but have recently moved to Edinburgh - understandably probably not the best move for wanting to work in this particular environment!

Help guys! Thanks,

Woza.
