Hi Guys

I have a problem getting my PS3 connected to the net.

I have a Netgear DG834G router, never had any problems using it with a laptop and Xbox 360. When I go to the PS3 menu > network settings it does the scan and finds my network (90% signal usually) next the security settings, I have tried using WPA-PSK and WPA2-PSK? putting in my correct password but it still won't connect. I have just tested it turning off the security and it connects. Of course I don't want to leave my network open but don't understand why it won't connect as soon as I activate the security. Any idea's?

Thanks

Tycho

Do you have to pair the PS3 with the router with security turned on?

Rob's got it in a nutshell try pairing the PS3 with the router with security turned on or there may be a button on the back or side of the router to put it in "paairing mode" so try that. smile
