Took a cheeky break at lunchtime to have a go with my new toy in Richmond park.

Would appreciate any feedback at this first attempt - pics were taken in RAW and developed in CS4. I tried to sample a few different techniques and level of tweaks to see how things compared.

Let me know what you think!

Quite a nice first set of photos!

The only thing lacking, in my opinion is the subject matter, Im sure with a better scene you'd take some cracking shots.

I did notice your comment on one of the pictures;

"I was struggling in photoshop with the balance of colours on the sign vs messing the rest of the shot, but think I've got it about right. "

Do a bit of research on the internet for "layer masks" This will help you out!

I'd already jumped in the car and was heading home, but I spotted that scene as I went down the hill towards the park gate, so parked up and walked back to take the shot smile Glad you liked it!
