Avoid using a booster; as known to cause problems with ECU's.

Trickle chargers OK though

There was another thread like this within the last couple of months and iirc the chap ended up looking at a battery isolator. If you leave your car for extended periods that'll be a better choice because starter batteries do not cope well with being left in a discharged state.

I think thats me. The battery booster I have has not helped me to start my Tuscan once.
Like you, I have to park my car without electric supply (airport car park).
I have bought a "Battery Brain" battery islolator which was recommended on here.
Its to be fitted in the next few days (along with a new battery) and so I wont know if its helping me until the next time I leave my Tuscan.
Thats not scheduled until the last week of Jan. and the first two weeks of Feb. so wont be able to comment until then.
I'll certainly post again in Feb.
Tony.

I've got a solar panel charger as well. I always park in a open position but I still have a flat battery after 3 weeks at an airport.

I sort of solved the problem. Not ideal by any means, but works well enough.

I have an AccuMate charger built into the car, but no electrical supply to the garage.

Once a week I connect a booster pack with a built in inverter.

This flattens the booster pack in about 6 hours, but keeps the car battery topped up. The AccuMate is a battery charger as well as a conditioner, despite the common misapprehension that it’s only a conditioner. A check on the AccuMate website will confirm if you read the PDF of the owner’s manual.

I once let my battery go flat and recharged it enough to start with two sessions of inverter powered AccuMate charging.

which power pack with an inverter do you have i was looking at the ring 210 in halfords which is 40 amp battery but only 800 amps start where all the other boosters powerfull enough seem to be around 1500 amps
