Hello,

My name is Nicolas and I come from France. I've always been interesting by having a Noble M12 because I just love that car !
Now I have enough budget to get one but there is still a problem remaining. French government doesn't like to homologate the british cars .
I know though that there's some Noble M12 which had been homologated in France, certainly after few modificationq. I'm looking for the french noble owners to check with them what are the modifications to do on the car.
Does anyone know a french Noble owner ?

Thanks

Nicolas

Nicolas,

Have you seen Sport Auto - March 2004 Edition. A great write up on the car.

Chris.

Hello,

Yes I've got this one. Inside they say : "not yet homologated in France". But without the european homologation of the car, it's hard to get a french one. but at least one person in france did arrive to do so. If i can enter in contact with him, i'll know how he did it and certainly arrive to do the same. But i don't want to buy the car, try by myself and then have to sell it back in britain cause i failed.

So please, help.

Yes I thought about this solution.
I just bought another Laverda motorbike (Formula 750S wink) and the registration is not easy, as I live close to the German border, I'll certainly transit it through Germany. If it worked, i'll certainly do the same for the Noble.

Hi very old post i know, but what happened. Was the french Noble M12 (well UK car registerred in France car owner), ever tracked down? Last year during the 24hrs du Mans I saw an Aerial Atom on french plates, so it can be done, for special cars.

Ariel had an distributor in France who negociated for a certain amount cars (new) to be let in the country yearly. That stopped with the european type approval for limited run cars. wink
As far s noble being homologated in France, I dont any reason why it would not be possible apart perhaps for the missing OBD connector but as always, with enough time an money you can overcome any technical issues.
