Quick question - is the handbrake lever from a classic mini?

Used on quite a number of cars.
Mine came from a range Rover but you will also find it in other Rover cars, metros, mini etc.

Damn, do I now have to apply for a Q plate because not everything on the car was new.

Thanks, but am after something more aesthetically pleasing than the standard one.

The Range Rover one comes with a nice moulded plastic grip but takes up almost all the room between the seats and makes it difficult to apply the brake.
