Home insurance?

Hi All,

Looking at getting my mortgage sorted soon; the insurance for the building it self is required. I will also add on content and some personal cover.

Before I go accpecting our first offer- are there things I need to look out for? For example excess of £50 sound reasonable.

Any company reconmendations would be welcome.

Our mortgage provider has a package with Legal and General.
