Actually, we're quite good at weapons/warships etc aren't we? If someone has a war we could do well exporting that sort of thing and Gordon could save the world all over again at the same time.

I'm and expat Brit who is mainly EUR but also CHF-based. Recently bought some pounds sterling for future use. Paid EUR 1120 per GBP 1000. Around a year ago it would have cost me EUR 1400 per thousand. Thank you Gordon!

I'll be over in blighty over Chrissy and I'm thinking to go on a spending spree to save the UK economy and also pick up some bargains. I've been looking for a new lappy and now might be the right time and the UK might be the right place! Come to think of it I was looking to pick up a 2nd hand 996 4S at the bottom of the market in Germany next year, when in fact a uk-based left hooker might be much better priced!
