What no CSL?

No CSL from the e92 M3. Are BMW giving up in the face of competition from Audi/Merc/Nissan? Really disappointed.

Believe they had one planned and various dealers had been accepting letters of intent / deposits.

But they made a statement a little while ago that they were binning it due to the economic conditions.

It might resurface if things improve in the next few years.

It's ok, the five year old E46 CSL is still better than the current Audi/Merc offerings so no need for a new one

The GTR is unique. Mercedes and Audi have nothing to compete with the five year old CSL.
