Birkett 6h Silverstone 25th

Ok Then Who fancies Silverstone on the 25th.(saturday)

as you may have read in sprint there is a 6hour enduro relay race. This consists of a team of cars and drivers, with one car from each team out on the track at a time. The teams are handicapped based on each drivers best time at silverstone.

There will be a very mixed grid from frazer nash to bmw.

There are also 2 yes 2 tvr teams...

A team of 5 Granturas

and

A team of 5 Tasmins


So plenty to bring your TVR flags and come and give us all a wave.

Racing starts at 11.00 on Saturday and finishes at 5pm

Hopefully Moore Racing will have been able to fix the gremlins that had me 20mph down on top speed at thruxton this weekend

This is the 2nd year Tasmins have competed.
We beat the BMWs last season with a respectable handicapped time...
So...
no pressure but you've got to beat that! :-)

Anyone watching it's great VFM with loadsa different classes and some big power differences.
Try watching from the outside of Maggots or the grandstands in the complex priory/brooklands/luffield.

Wish I were with you .. :-(

feck this is going to hurt....

whilst investigating the slow running last weekend in preparation for the Birkett

so far moore racing have found...



1) n/s diff bearing collapsed ( we only fitted the diff on thursday) this will bugger the handling apparently
2) sized lifter
3) bent pushrod
4) end of rockershaft snapped....



see i said it wasnt the driver !!!!!!!

Silverstone have kindly offered infield parking for any TVRs attending this event. Use the main entrance (sorry, I couldn't negotiate any discount) and then follow signs for infield. TVR parking will be by the Paddock Diner.

Mooching around the paddock there is plenty of TVR action

and a vixen and a griff 500 in other teams.
