Chaps and chapesses,
We are currently in negotiation witht he company that produces high price after market filters ( Bl*tz, H*S, etc), and are trying to arrange delivery of some units unbranded, for a fraction of the cost... Would you guys be interested? If so, mail me at amdy@babesnbass.co.uk, and if we can get a few names together, then we can get an order together. Not sure of the price yet, as we are still after delivery charges from the factory, but that should be in the next few days.
Thanks peps
Andy
:-)
PS..I'm sure we can have a nice little piston heads discount! :-)

HKS Super Powerflow induction filters.

The mushroom type.

Can always use a few as I switch them every 2-3 thousand miles.......

I'm currently paying about 8 quid, so cheaper is better.

More filtration is better too.....

Sorry... But it is the filter as a whole at the moment, not just the filter inserts. If we can obtain the filters themselves though i will give you a bell.

Ah, you mean the whole induction kit?

Or just higher spec standard filter replacement?

The filters we will be looking at importing are from the same factory as the HKS/Blitz ones, except they are unbranded...

If anyone is interested, then please contact me, or post here! We are looking at the Blitz style ones initially, but if demand is strong we will extend and try to get the others in as well.

I'd prefer an Apexi. Blitz let in too much crap and don't improve the performance that much. (From test results.) HKS aren't much better.

Can you get an Apexi jobbie for an R33 GTS-t?
£?

Yeah, I know. I don't like to think about it.

I might know several interested parties. How much are we talking here?

As far as I am aware, the HKS are a bit crap, but only if you don't change the filters on a regular basis. The Blitz ones have had near no bad publicity? I have an MR2 Turbo, and people run the blitz on those fine, with no problems. Where are these test results so I can have a wee look?
As for price..I should be getting the shipping price in the next day or so, so a price will be posted just after
Cheers

I think I saw it on a supra forum. cant remember which tho. Also it's quite common knowledge on the sxoc.com board. Apexi are the best in all respects.

I am assuming the blitz ones are those nice looking wire mesh jobbies, cos that's the style that does badly in tests...

Can you get a Blitz for an S14 (200SX)?

Im assuming they are the stainless mesh cone ones?

I have only read good things about these.
(Plus the metallic BTCC touring car induction sound is excellent).

Let me know if you can get one for the S14

They are indeed the mesh types, and I myself have heard nothing but good things about them!! I have one on my MR2 tubby as well, not just blagging so ya buy! The filters come just as the filter unit, not hosing. You can either supply the hosing yourself, or tell me what you are needing and I can supply at cost price. its up to you. The price for filter is 45 pounds, UNBRANDED! Please don't expect to have the blitz brand over the unit as it is part of the deal that the supplier stated!
Contact me at andy@babesnbass.co.uk and we can talk about the situation
Cheers

Take a lok at www.mkiv.com/techarticles/filters_test/2/ for a comparison between Blitz, Apexi and K&N.
