Arrrgh Noisy Eaters

I can't stand it anymore. There is a guy in the office who makes THE most noise when eating - my bunnies make gross noises chomping on their veg, but even they have fab table manners compared to this AND they don't have opposable thumbs to hold their food while trying to consume it.

Its the chomping and salivary noises that get to me the most. I couldn't even work out what it was being eaten earlier as I've never heard anything like it (was that a slurp of yoghurt...nope...not a chome of sarnie...) A fecking marshmallow square. I can only say it sounded a little like someone chewing gum at elevated noise levels with the odd crunch.

I can't really say anything to him as he's rather sweet and I don't think he'd quite get it..

But I'm going insane.....

I've just sat through a colleague eating the most moist sounding tuna bap in the world and now I'm off to be sick.

The girl I sit next to at work (despite being lovely in all other aspects), makes an unbelievable amount of noise as soon as any food goes near her mouth. Slurping soup from a spoon, loud gulping of drinks, ramming so much salad into her mouth that she is forced to chomp at it, mouth half-gaping like a rabbit.
It drives me effing berserk!

Turn it off when he's finished.
Should get the message after a while.

rabbits nibble and keep their mouths shut. Its the only thing stopping me from cooking mine as their eating makes me feel ill - I have to put the TV on to drown it out.

But this person in the office manages to drown out the radio AND photocopier with his noises.

Horrible! I tend to keep my earphones nearby for when this happens, they soon get the hint.

Do some people have thin cheek skin or something?!

This brings up memorys of how my sister used to act when she was younger, she used to get all angry at me and my brother on how we ate, but thats because she was a wee bh.. and i wasnt even a noisy eater... Now she's ok because she grew up, i think its a bit trivial just dont listen to it or put up the radio.

Thats nothing I was having a meal with a colleague the other day and he put his bread on MY side plate! I was livid, the heathen. I had to explain table manners to him.

A chap at my old work place would chomp down the phone to people.

I don't think I'm particularly short fused...but I could be today if it happens again.
