what do they do for the other 11 months of the year
i saw at least 10 seperate christmas tree sellers on my way to work yesterday and was wondering what else they do? same with the decorations installers, like the ones who do shopping centres

I think you're quite generous in assuming the xmas period only lasts 1 month. what do they do for the other 11 months of the year

Well considering how busy the farm is that sell xmas trees near us, i'd suggest they do quite well out of that month alone.
I spoke to the girl last year, and she was saying the trees are really easy to plant, and require sod all maintenance, so they keep a large field aside for them. They'd sold over 2,000 trees when I was talking to her, and given that was the first week in December, and at roughly £15 for a cheapy tree, I suspect they do quite well out of xmas alone.
My tree was £32.
