Which ps3 headset

Can anyone recommend a headset for the PS3? This one looks ok http://www.play.com/Games/PlayStation3/4-/3593100/... but I haven't got a clue.

I just use the bluetooth headset for my mobile. Works like a charm for me.

i have a wired logitech one (£5 on ebay rrp £30 and its great - better than the old xbox ones).

I had that one, it was good until it stopped working. The mute/power button jammed very easily......in other words it was a little temperamental.

The official PS3 headset is out now, should be receiving mine within the next couple of days.

I've bought an official sony one from my local store and it's charging away nicely now. £25 so a bit more expensive than from play but it was in stock, still cheaper than a fair few other places though.

tell us how you get on, as i think il get the official one in the socom bundle, I already have a SE one from a phone but theyre crap for it, nowhere near as good as the 360 wireless one, also when you try it can you tell me if when you mute it, it still plays what everyone else is saying through the headset but to answer them you have to unmute it.

As my one when you mute it, plays all sound through the tv so you can barely hear people or you can hear screaming kids.

I have the Gioteck one like in the OP's post, it works pretty well for me. Its not perfect though, I can't really get it to sit comfortably on my ear and still be able to hear clearly, and the mic have much twist on it so it rests on my cheek.

I haven't had any problems with battery life though, and my power button is ok.
