Bought Mrs F a bucket of flowers as it was her birthday the other day.

Thought I would try and shoot some of them whilst she was at work today.

Blimey, its hard work being creative.I took about 20 shots to get this.

Just remember, Im an action type really, so this kind of stuff is not natural to me.

Anyways, Im semi pleased with this. No flash,just gently backlit and everything.

Nice composition.

Did you set the white balance for your lights or rely on an auto setting? I think there's a yellow tinge (above the obvious yellow subject and background), possibly as a result of Tungsten lights.

Just a thought.

WB was set to auto. I did think about changing it, but the colours looked like they worked when I opened ps up.

As stated, this kind of pic is outside my comfort zone, so its all suck it and see really.

I spent 2 hours last sunday trying to get a lemon to look like a lemon rather than an orange. Changed WB from Auto to Tungsten and hey presto, there was the lemon I was looking for.

I too prefer working outdoors.
