Yes I'm going and there may well be a few of us from the North London area. We're aiming to arrive for 3pm and stay for the evening "flame and thunder" bit.

I did ring the Pod and ask if they would find us some TVR parking - and they will. So I'll check this thread and let then know the numbers nearer the day.

I've got full details of the Saturdays events - if anyone wants them - mail me.

Griffy, who you got coming up???

BTW, what's Northampton like for a night out??

Well so far from our end it's you me Slam and Ed with a possible Podie. But if he comes he's leading us cos then we can say we followed Podie to the Pod.

So I'll have to go emailing the other Essex buch, cos it's stating to look like they're putting their feet up for the winter.. and we can't have that, can we?
We can harrass some of them next week..

Just got an e.mail from them
(boring stuff removed)

On Saturday the 1st of November, Santa Pod once again rumbles to the sound of Top Fuel cars.... and not just any old Top Fuel cars, since 2003 champion Smax Smith will be at the wheel of one, while 1998 champion Barry Sheavills makes a popular return to the seat of the other Top Fueler.

The Flame & Thunder show isn't just for fans of the FIA series though, since
we have loads of stuff that will appeal to the whole family, including stunt drivers Russ Swift and Terry Grant, the famous Fireforce jet cars (doing a rare side-by-side run at this event!), and Eric Teboul on his record-breaking rocket motorcycle. On top of this, we have a full line-up from the VolksWagon Drag Racing Club, and loads of other cars and bikes from all different classes. The evening ends with a massive firework display and bonfire.

I'll ask my assistant nicely if she'll cover another Saturday night (she's doing my BT&P night off the following week....so may need to bribe her a bit)
