EdT is kindly hosting some footage from the back of No6 in the Feature Race at Brands Hatch.

Snigger with derision as No6 powers off the line ahead of No29

Gasp with fear as No3 collides with the barrier after being nudged by No5

Titter with mirth as 29 tries and fails to pass

Cheer with joy as No6 passes No66 under braking at Druids

And buy EdT a pint for ending the video before 29 overtakes me and buggers off

Apologies for cross posting - also available in the Tuscan Challenge forum, but no-one goes there since the season finished!

I did!
The video is great!
Camera is the wrong angle to catch all the Tivheads on the South Bank though....

Of course, I could have buggered off earlier, but look at all that camera time I would have lost

The vid ends on 2:29, at 2:32 I'm gone, like in front, weeeeeeeeeeeeeee, know what I mean, varooooom!!! a long way in front, 3 places and about 20 secs if memory serves

I've got to say that dispite the fact that the boy is no match for me, he has done very well, very, very well in fact, not many drivers can handle a Tuscan, and to have got the times he has and the "respect" of the other Tuscan drivers, the lads got talent, but don't tell him, or we'll never hear the end of it

Cool video! EdT, tvrbliss is yours right? I found your site on google a while ago, and I loved those videos you put up! And 'theres a shop open only 20 miles away' - vintage.

I have to say well done for making a site like that, whenever I get fed up of uni, I have a look at your videos and think 'that will be me one day if i work hard' *sigh* still, good motivation for me.

now the thread can get back on topic....

yup he is he.

I lent him the backwards facing camera for the Brands race. Andy also used his camera facing forwards but I havent had a chance to look through it yet (expect he'll want the tapes back soon anyhow.. what better to watch with a beer in hand)

Thank you for your kind words Uncle Rodney. I am overcome Speechless......

...well not quite

You were most certainly quicker than me around Brands but it does seem that your memory is playing tricks with you (probably age, but don't worry, its only when the incontinence starts that you'll become an embarrassment to your friends and a burden to your family).

3 places ahead - absolutely - and well deserved, sir. But as 16:02.381 plays 16:03.574, if my memory serves me correctly, your 20 seconds and far away was in fact just under 1.2 seconds. But a good story nonetheless and a tremendous drive to 7th from 19th on the grid

Due to the absence of my audio/visual engineer (in Prague) and additional stress on Sunday morning brought on by only having three wheels/hubs on my car and having to go to the headmaster's office for a wigging, there was a cock up on the video front

Instead of having two cameras working for each race for EdT to edit into a masterpiece, I only managed to get the front facing camera to work for the sprint race, and the rear facing one for the feature race.

So although I have 29 disappearing stage left into the kitty litter on camera from the Saturday, I'm afraid I don't have 29 disappearing in front of me having overtaken and pulled away on lap 4. Which is a shame - it would have been good to watch.

Good racing with you this year 29 - and as I said to you privately, thanks for the support and making me feel welcome in the Tuscan paddock. Its been great fun and really made special by people like you. I'll miss you in the Tuscans, but look forward to those joint GT/Tuscan test sessions next year

Best of luck to you in the GT Cup:thumbup:

Quite right. Normal service being resumed.

P.S. You can run off to the GTs, but you can't hide......

And you're still senile

That's more like it, chuck a few insults about, hassle an old man, call him senile, you feel better now don't you??. One day you will reach a fine ripe age, I do hope that there's a whippersnapper waiting in the wings for you...... SE-NILE, no problem, I can see the Mekon Delta on a clear day.
