credit crunch bargains :)

I was looking at the guide prices at some of the repossessed houses and then putting thjem though Zopla to see what people had paid for them. Flats that people bought for £395K at the end of 2006 now with a guide price of £170-180K and a 5 bed Mac Mansion in Carditt that sold for £280K was bought at £550K in 2007.
Although most were making the guide price and about 10% more some were not reaching the guidepice. Very few were doing well.
And no doubt there is more to come.

A 2 bedroon flat in Manchester.
A friend bought it about 2 years ago for 335k but has been struggling recently.
I bought it off him for 215 last week.
It's going to be a corporate let for the time being.
Isn't it great to be able to lend a helping hand to a friend?A friend bought it about 2 years ago for 335k but has been struggling recently.

Now he can buy a smaller/cheaper place and LHEA.
