Who would be against it if we started forcibly sterilizing?

Who decides who gets sterilized?

Who decides the IQ level below which the operation is carried out?

What type of tests would be used?

Is IQ the only way of valuing a person's worth?

Yes, obviously when I said "cannot" I meant that it was not medically possible.

There was no mention of paedophiles in the OP. Anyway, they specifically should just have the baby making equipment forcibly removed.

Don't sterilize, just make it illegal to have offspring if you do not have the financial means to support them. (OK, so we'd have to issue large print simple worded documentation explaining that benefits do not constitute financial means)

I don't think IQ should have anything to do with it! But in certain cases, such as when parents prove themselves unfit, I think it's a good idea.

And so you prevent the production of and future offspring with low intelligence, what happens next? Who will drives our buses, clean our streets, serve in shops, do our tax returns, become a politician etc?
