How much does it really cost to build the locost?

Why don't I just build the car for you!!!!!

A Locost will cost anything from 1000gbp to whatever. To give you an idea, my race Locost cost about 6k.

You'll need a workshop full of tools and a load of common sense.

Simple.

Why don't you list all the tools that would be needed along with what company to get them from and how much they cost.
If you're thinking:
WHy should I spend hundreds of hours doing that and get nothing out of it.

If you get hold of a copy of the Ron Champion book then he lists all the tools you need, where you can get them, the costs and, Good Lord!, even how to use them.

I shall start the list: Spanner, a couple of quid, Halfords.
