what' so good about a 5-' model "Locost"
Discussion
Chassis. You're gonna really wind people up with these postings.
GET REAL!!!
If you think you can scratch build a Ferrari then the best of luck to you mate. But I only know of one such build and that was a scale model which was worth about 100k in itself with all the labour involved (took years too).
Locosts and Ferrari's are totally different propositions. If you think Ron Champion (who's book basically copies Colin Chapman's original design) will teach you to build a Ferrari then you're completely bonkers.
However, from experience my Locost can run rings around a road going Ferrari on the track.

I know Ron' book is based on a 50' model but do you know of any book based on a modern model, mate?
