Shocks

I'm after a pair of rear shocks for my S3 and don't have a great deal to spend so I thought I would ask you wise bunch what is best on a limited budget. Or does someone out there have a nice used pair that they have upgraded and kept in reserve ? If so PM me

There are loads of old threads available on suspension so worth doing a search.

Don't forget to add Nitrons to your list as possibles, depends if can justify the extra £'s and whether you will be able squeeze any extra performance from them.

My current and previous S2 has the Gaz ones Norman has suggested. Really happy with them when compared to standard but I've not driven an S with any of the other makes Also don't forget that it's not just fitting the suspension, getting it correctly set up will make a massive difference as I found out!!

Even though I'd bought my shocks elsewhere he was still really helpful.
I did buy my springs from him though
