Autocourse for Horse Racing?

As per title, is there a publication suitable as a Christmas present that has information relating to race tracks and horses that would be useful? Alternatively, something information based that would be useful for someone reasonably knowledgeable who likes a punt on regular basis.

Trying to keep in with the Outlaws so any advice for maximum browny points would be useful. Cheers.
