Thats an essex engine which is the equivalent of the old 3.0 ford lump in the M series etc. 160bhp will be with a carb - the old 3 litre was about 140bhp as standard (I had a 3 litre crapi once ).
Its quite a different engine to the cologne - distributor at the front IIRC.

Very very torquey though.
