If you cut yourself on a cut does it hurt twice as much?

Lord Pikey

edit -

this wasn't a self harm question btw

On Sunday i cut my finger tip on my disc brake rotor, on Monday i cut the cut area with a stray brake cable strand. Hurts like hell.

An identical cut (which would most likely be impossible) would hurt no more than the original cut, but if you kept doing the identical cut over and over again the pain would increase dramaticaly. It's called "Wind Up theory" for anyone who's interested.
