Hi folks,

I know it seems like a long way away but Im already thinking about Le Mans for 2009.

I know that BMW will be racing the new M3 in partnership with Rahal Letterman Racing and would love to hear from anyone who is organising, or would like to organise a road trip.

If you have never been before and you are a BMW fan then this could be the perfect year for you to come. We all know the sucess BMW had with the last V8 M3.....

Im in chap. theres a couple of us planning on taking a trip up there, either a very bumpy ride in the evo track car or buy an old banger for the trip.

just email me with your ideas and days you are going and can make a convoy out of it! havent booked anything yet either.

Got a couple of connections with Rahal Letterman racing. Will try and find out.

Remember - the only listpublished at the moment is the list of automatic invitationals released by the organisers the Automobile Club de l'Ouest. This doesn't by any means say whether or not that team will enter. For example, Penske's LMP2 Porsche RS Spyders were invited for this years race but they didn't take it up.

I'd still love to see a BM at Le Mans again though.

Have written to the RL Marketing VP with the question.

In the meantime, here is the car.

Hope the OP hasn't confused Le Mans with the American Le Mans series that they are definately competing in in the GT2 class.

Yeah me neither,

And you may be happy to know we have decided to lower the dampners on the track car and take that.....if we find a track we'll just notch them down again and eat some rubber!! should be great

I have these and the range is pretty good. Unlikely to every get the max but to have a higher max means better car 2 car on the convoy over a couple of kms
