One of my indicators stopped working again yesterday. Once I had pored all the water out of the indicator lens and bought a nice new rust-free bulb it still didn't work. I traced the cable to a junction block which lies just behind the radiator on a chassis bar, gave it a squeeze and all is now working smile So, I'll give the connector a proper clean next week, but can anyone tell me if that's where its supposed to be? Seems mighty close to the radiator and a bit exposed to the elements. Would securing it further away and protecting with electrical tape be a wise move? Just wondered scratchchin

Had a great drive out anyway. No drama. S running really sweet. Lots of fun drivingbiggrin

I've not done it yet but when i raised this a while back the response was that those connectors are rubbish and it would be best to cut them off and replace them with something thats better and waterproof.

Someone will be along in a minute to say just exactly what to replace them with ears

Aha, that's the dreaded interior grade connector placed directly in the spray of the wheels. The best bet is to cut the whole connector out and replace it with a weatherproof connector, but beware that corrosion tends to creep a long way back up the wires and finding sound wire to connect to may be harder than you think.

Coke does miracles with corroded wires (the drink, not the powder wink )
Strip the wires, leave them overnight in a glass of coke, and the next morning you'll find bright shiny copper to solder new terminals on.

Next job is to replace headlamp bowls and rims etc so this tread is providential in its timing just ordered waterproof connectors but from auto sparkes from the embedded thread.

BTW Tomato Ketchup works as well as coke
