BBC Cinema Ads
Discussion
I've been going to the cinema a lot over the last few months and at the beginning of every performance the BBC runs a number of looooong ads about either the organisation itself or a specific show.
Is it just me or is this a massive waste of money for an organisation that famously cut a large number of staff in its flagship news and nature units?
These ads can't be either cheap to make or run for so long at the beginning of every film showing so far this year and lets face it they don't have to play the ratings game. So why do the execs feel the need?

One of the most annoying things to happen at the cinema for a long time. Not what I want from my license fee.Is it just me or is this a massive waste of money for an organisation that famously cut a large number of staff in its flagship news and nature units?

Sod BBC ad's. Its all bloody ad's at the cinema. I barely get change from £20 (for 2), pay over the odds for stale popcorn. Then have to sit behind the bloke with the biggest head in the world, in front on the tallest man in the world. Watch 15 minutes of s
t adverts, to then watch 20 minutes of trailers. Then the film begins and people spend it eating food and saying "is that the one who..."
Then we all fight to get out of the bloody place.
They wonder why people download films!
