Been trotting out the same dinner suit for at least 5 years now and as the wife has a stunning new evening dress decided I'd best get a new outfit!

I've always had single breasted DJs in the past, but what's 'in vogue' at the moment?

The 'do' is relatively upmarket - ladies will be wearing below the knee dresses so quite formal, although generally increasingly less formal as the night wears on and the alcohol flows!

Also, any recommendations for where to get a half-decent looking one from? Budget £200 ish.

I personaly would go for (and have) a 2 button single breasted.

For no other reason than I like the look - no idea if it is in Vogue right now.

And remember, normal collar dress shirt.

Not a fan of sticky-up penguin collars myself either!!! Look odd, chafe your neck and interfere with drinking!

Don't we normally have threads like these just before BTaP rather than after? smile

Dunno, it's not BTaP I'm going to! What was the consensus there then? Or was everyone looking at the lovely ladies instead....

single breasted, 2 button works for me. And I believe the consensus is that winged collars are so last century.

And I'm on the age where a cummerbund (or "man corset") holds my gut in, so I wear one. smile
