Using Corporate jet to visit Congess for a loan..nice optics

The three CEOs of the US autos have been in Congress asking for $25 billion....
all arrived in private jets. This sort of thins gets Americans very upset, and not a brilliant way to get your hands on money. Would you visit you bank to get emergence funding and drive up in a Ferrari?.

I think it's more a case of "Give us money".

in fairness though, it's about making the best use of your CEO's time.

Also, imagine you were sitting cattle class in an aeroplane on your way to Washington or wherever the hell they went.. Imagine the man who controls a huge portion of your pension, the wages of the majority of your family etc etc, sat down beside you! You'd slit your wrists!!

Its getting TV coverage in the US. Small thing,but its the sort of minor event that has an impact on very major decisions.
