Or it may be an early Mark 3, judging by the bonnet. Looks like a friend of his with a yellow Vixen went to watch him race.

It's clearly not an MK3, I would rather have it as an Mk2 or Mk2a. Where did you get the pictures from. I just posted my search for the 7/C/224 history. Maybe I can find an answer here?
